Ben Hall

Ben is a one of Britain’s leading wildlife photographers, with a reputation for capturing evocative images of wildlife in the landscape and expert use of light. His images have won him numerous international awards and he has appeared on several television programmes, including BBC Countryfile and BBC’s Walk on the Wild Side. His images are sold world-wide and have been used by major publications, advertising agencies and other important corporate clients. Having taught on photography workshops and holidays for well over a decade, Ben is an experienced, passionate and popular tutor who adopts a relaxed and friendly style. He is a regular photographic and editorial contributor to clients as diverse as BBC Wildlife, Practical Photography, Outdoor Photography, Digital SLR Photography, Birds Illustrated and Birding (USA). Ben also co-authored The Wildlife Photography Workshop with Ross Hoddinott.

Ben lives in the north of England with his young family and is driven by the need to protect and preserve Britain's fragile ecosystems, as testified by his work for the RSPB, various Wildlife Trusts and other conservation organisations.
